Man arrested for mischief, again
A 43-year-old man is facing his 14th mischief charge after a couple of incidents over the weekend in Chatham-Kent.
On Saturday, Chatham-Kent police arrested the man for mischief after he allegedly caused a disturbance in Wallaceburg.
According to police, the man was already facing charges for numerous counts of mischief in relation to an incident in Dresden earlier in the week.
As a result, he was transported to police headquarters and held for bail.
On Sunday, the man was released from custody with a future court date.
Just two hours after his release, police said the man allegedly smashed the windows of four businesses on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
He was once again arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was held for bail.
According to police, the man has accumulated a total of 14 mischief charges and caused over $30,000 in damages across the municipality.

Police respond to multiple overdoses
Chatham-Kent police responded to a pair of separate drug overdoses on Sunday in Chatham.
In both scenarios, police arrived on scene along with paramedics and firefighters to treat the males, who police said overdosed on suspected fentanyl.
Both individuals became responsive once police administered Narcan.
They were both transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance to be treated further.

Warrant arrest in Chatham
A call about a suspicious person is to thank for an arrest in Chatham.
Police responded to the call on Saturday in the area of Richmond Street.
The suspect, a 34-year-old Chatham man, was located and arrested on a surety relief warrant.
He was transported to South West Detention Centre.
