The province has notified Lambton Public Health about the setback and the health unit is adjusting its vaccine rollout.
Starting today, in stock Pfizer vaccines will be distributed to those 12 to 29-years-old, while supplies last.
Those 30-years-old and up will receive the Moderna vaccine.
Lambton Public Health is reminding residents that the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA vaccines are interchangeable for those aged 30 and older.
