Solid start for Brochu at World Juniors

Tilbury's Brett Brochu made 20 saves in his IIHF World Junior Championship debut as Team Canada took down Austria 11-2 in round-robin play.

In his first start at the tournament, the London Knights goaltender only allowed two goals on 22 shots for a .909 save percentage.

Forward Connor Bedard was named the Team Canada Player of the Game after scoring four goals, including a natural hat trick as the Canadians poured 64 shots on Austrian netminder Leon Sommer.

Canada's next game is against Germany at 7 p.m. Wednesday (TSN).
