Police arrest suspicious man carrying stolen quick cut saw
A 33-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged after police allegedly saw him walking around in Chatham carrying a quick cut saw.
Chatham-Kent police said they found the man walking along Queen Street shortly before noon on Tuesday and learned that the saw had been stolen during a recent break-in at a nearby address.
The man was arrested, charged with possession of stolen property, and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Theft complaint leads to arrest
A 49-year-old Chatham woman is facing charges after she allegedly stole from a business on Wellington Street West in Chatham.
Police said they received a theft complaint from the business at around 5 p.m. Tuesday and were given a description of the woman involved.
Officers were able to track her down a short distance away and at that time, they also learned that she was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
A 49-year-old Chatham woman was arrested, charged with theft and possession of stolen property, and released with conditions and a future court date.
