Man charged after police track down stolen vehicle with GPS
A 32-year-old Chatham man is facing charges after stealing a car from a parking lot on King Street in Chatham only to be found a short distance away.
Police say the owner was able to use the GPS in the vehicle, which showed it at a residence on Colborne Street.
Officers say they were able to locate the vehicle and return it to the owner.
As a result, the man was charged with theft and possession of stolen property over $5,000. He was later released from custody with a future court date.

Man charged after police retrieve stolen property from inside the suspect's home
A 29-year-old Chatham man will have to answer to several charges after police found stolen property inside the man's home.
Police say they were investigating a break and enter into a residence on Riverview Drive in Chatham Saturday night.
Officers say they located a man, currently wanted by police, who allowed them to enter his residence while he retrieved a sweater.
While police were in the residence, officers observed the stolen property from the break and enter at the back door.
The man was placed under arrest on the strength of his warrant and additionally charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.
He was later released from custody with a future court date.

Pair arrested on separate outstanding warrants
On Saturday, Police located a female on Sarah Crescent in Chatham who had three outstanding warrants for her arrest.
Officers say the 31-year-old woman was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.

Early Sunday morning, police were conducting a traffic stop on Erieau Road when a police check revealed the driver was wanted by police.
Police arrested the 21-year-old female driver on the strength of her warrant.
She was later released from custody with a future court date.
