Man busted for having fentanyl after breaking into vehicle

A 29-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged with drug possession after he was allegedly caught carrying some fentanyl.

Chatham-Kent police said they found the man -- and the drugs -- after someone in Chatham called them to report they had seen an unknown man enter their vehicle while it was parked in their driveway.

The accused was arrested, charged, and released with a future court date.

Tilbury youth warned after roof jumping report

Two youths from Tilbury learned a lesson about trespassing after they were allegedly spotted jumping onto -- and off of -- someone's roof.

Police said they got a call from a Tilbury resident at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday about two young males who were jumping on the roof of her residence and then jumping off to a closely parked box truck.

Investigators said officers were able to track down the teens and cautioned them about trespassing.

Wanted Dresden man arrested

The law has come calling for a 27-year-old Dresden man who was wanted for several offences including assault and uttering threats.

Police said they found the man while they were carrying out a traffic stop in the Dresden area Sunday morning

The man -- who was wanted for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, assault, uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death, and uttering threats to damage property -- was arrested and later released with a future court date.
