Man charged for impaired driving at drive-thru
A 39-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged with impaired driving after someone blew the whistle on him at a drive-thru.
Chatham-Kent police said they received a call at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a possible impaired driver in a drive thru in the area of 756 St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they found the driver and issued him a breath test, which he then failed.
The man was charged with impaired driving and he was later released with a future court date.

Wellness check leads to a pair of arrests, drug charges
Two women are facing charges after they were allegedly spotted slumped over in a vehicle Thursday morning.
Police said an officer on general patrol saw that on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg just before 10 a.m. Thursday and while the officer was checking on the pair, he learned that the driver was wanted by Sarnia police.
As a result, the woman was arrested and transferred to Sarnia for court purposes.
Police said they also found some suspected fentanyl, cash, scales, and an imitation handgun in the passenger's possession, so she was also arrested.
The passenger, a Wallaceburg woman, was charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and she was later released with a future court date.
