Municipal officials are looking for input from the public on enhancing visitor experiences in Chatham-Kent.
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is preparing to develop a tourism wayfinding and visitor interaction strategy, which will promote tourist attractions and help visitors move from one location to another.
Tourism operators, business owners, and residents are encouraged to provide their input by taking this survey.
Some examples municipal officials are looking into include visitor information centres, signage within and outside Chatham-Kent, maps and brochures, and digital maps.
“This navigation and wayfinding strategy is an exciting and long-anticipated initiative," said CK Tourism Stakeholder Advisory Council Chair Shannon Prince. "We are so fortunate to have unique and diverse tourism assets across Chatham-Kent and this strategy will not only highlight each community but help visitors travel more easily across CK to experience what we have."
