Uninsured vehicle with unauthorized plates leads to arrest
A 37-year-old Wallaceburg man is in trouble with the law after he was allegedly caught driving around with unauthorized license plates in an uninsured vehicle.
Chatham-Kent police said they pulled the vehicle over just after 2 p.m. Wednesday on Herbert Street in Wallaceburg.
Officers said the driver was arrested and later released with a future court date, but they held onto the vehicle for now.
The front and rear license plates were seized and the vehicle was towed to an impound lot.

Windsor man's license suspended after traffic stop in CK
A Windsor man will have to hitch a ride with someone else for the next couple of days after he was spotted swerving on the road in Chatham Wednesday afternoon.
Police said they spotted the vehicle heading south on Queen Street at around 2 p.m. Wednesday and pulled it over.
The driver was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, so a roadside breath test was administered.
A 38-year-old Windsor man was then issued a 3-day driver's license suspension as a result.
