Women arrested in stolen vehicle with taser 

A 21-year-old Chatham woman faces charges after she was found early Saturday morning in a parked stolen car at an address on Kent Bridge Road.

Police said the vehicle was confirmed stolen out of the Waterloo region.

The 21-year-old was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

She was also charged with being in possession of a prohibited weapon after officers located a taser.

She was released with a future court date.

Police investigate robbery in Blenheim 

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a possible robbery that happened on Ellen Street in Blenheim just after midnight.

Police said the victim alleges he was attacked by three males who then stole his phone. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Man arrested for assault 

A 32-year-old Muskoka man faces charges after allegedly throwing an object and threatening to kill another person in Wheatley.

Police said they responded to the incident on Talbot Trail around 7:17 p.m. Friday.

The Muskoka man was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man found breaching house arrest 

Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 36-year-old Chatham man after he was found breaching his release conditions on Colborne Street.

Police said the man's conditions ordered him to remain inside his residence at all times.

He was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested on domestic charges 

A 44-year-old Wheatley man faces charges after a domestic incident in Wheatley.

Police said the man was arrested and charged with assault and uttering threats.

The man was transported to police headquarters where he was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Police knock two off outstanding warrants list 

A Bothwell man, wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court, was arrested yesterday after an unrelated incident.

Police said the man was later released on an undertaking with a future court date.

Two men, wanted on outstanding warrants, were arrested yesterday after police were called to the area of King Street West in regards to two suspicious parties.

Police said they located the men, who were both found to have outstanding warrants.

One man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, while the other was released on an appearance notice with a future court date.
