Woman turns herself in after allegedly breaching court order
A 37-year-old Leamington woman is facing several charges after she allegedly reached out to a Chatham man several times after he had been ordered not to communicate with her.
Police said their investigation started on July 9, adding that they learned the woman had contacted the man "numerous times and attended his residence."
Officers said the woman turned herself in to police on Monday and was charged with one count each of facilitating a breach of probation and failing to comply with a release order along with four counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
She was set to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested for skipping court date
A 31-year-old Walpole Island man who was wanted for skipping out on a scheduled court appearance has been given a new date with a judge.
Chatham-Kent police said they found the man on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg at around 6:40 p.m. Monday and arrested him.
He was taken back to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date in August.

Wanted man found with banned weapon
A 32-year-old Chatham-Kent man who was already wanted for failing to attend court is in even more trouble with the law after police allegedly found him with a prohibited weapon.
Police said they found the man on Lorne Avenue in Chatham just before 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
He was arrested on the outstanding warrant for allegedly skipping court and was also charged with possession of a banned weapon, failing to comply with an undertaking, and failing to comply with a release order.
He was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
