Chatham woman arrested for allegedly harassing man
A 41-year-old Chatham woman is charged with criminal harassment after she allegedly kept contacting a man who didn't want to hear from her anymore.
Police said they received a report on August 27 that the man was "receiving unwanted communication" from the woman.
Officers said the woman then kept contacting the man even after she was cautioned several times to stop.
Police said they arrested her on Monday. She was charged and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Teen charged after rocks thrown at Chatham home
A 14-year-old Chatham youth has been arrested and charged with mischief after police were called to investigate a complaint about some youth damaging a home on Patteson Avenue in Chatham.
Police said they were called to the residence on Friday for a report of an ongoing issue with youths knocking, kicking, and throwing rocks at the home.
Officers said a window was damaged as a result of the incidents.
Investigators were able to identify one of the youths who was involved and he was arrested, charged with mischief, and taken back to police headquarters.
He was later released to a parent with conditions and a future court date.

Chatham man arrested for assault, threats in domestic case
A 30-year-old Chatham man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly threatened his ex-partner's new boyfriend.
Police said they were notified of that at around 12:25 p.m. Monday, adding that the man is also accused of assaulting his ex-partner in the past.
The accused was charged with uttering threats and assault with a weapon and was taken to police headquarters. He was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Gas Theft
Chatham-Kent police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the woman below as officers investigate a gas theft at the Circle K in Thamesville on August 24, 2022, at 3:50 p.m.
Police said the woman was the passenger of a dark grey Nissan Versa.
