Driver and passenger injured following ATV collision near Bothwell
Chatham-Kent police are investigating a serious ATV crash near Bothwell that injured two people Friday evening.
Emergency personnel responded to the single-vehicle collision around 6:50 p.m. where the driver and passenger both sustained injuries.
Police say the driver, a 73-year-old Zone Township man, was driving along an unmarked trail in a private bush lot when he suddenly lost control, causing him and the passenger to be ejected from the ATV.

Forensic evidence helps police solve theft investigation
A 49-year-old Dover Township man is facing charges for theft after allegedly stealing a pick-up truck from a home in Chatham.Police said on August 28, unknown suspects stole a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck from a residence in Chatham.
The following day, the truck was recovered
Police said the truck was later examined for forensic evidence which revealed fingerprints that matched those of a local man.
On Friday, the 49-year-old was arrested and charged with being in possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000.
He was released pending a future court date of October 31, 2022.

Thamesville woman charged with driving while under suspension
A 33-year-old Thamesville woman is in more trouble with the police after being pulled over with a suspended license.
Police said an officer on general patrol observed the woman driving in Chatham.A query of the license plate revealed the woman's license had been suspended for unpaid fines.
The 33-year-old woman was charged and will be required to attend court on October 26, 2022.
