Masked woman accused of robbing store of candy on Halloween
A 30-year-old woman is charged with robbery after she allegedly walked into a store in Wallaceburg on Halloween and stole some candies and other merchandise.
Chatham-Kent police said the woman entered the store at around 7:30 a.m. Monday, adding that she was also wearing a mask at the time.
Police said when an employee approached the woman, she told them she had a knife and took off with the product.
Officers were able to find a suspect in the area and arrested her for robbery.
Their investigation also showed that she was also breaching a previous bail condition by attending the store.
The woman was taken into custody and was set to be held there pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested for showing up at ex-wife's residence
A 41-year-old man is in trouble with the law again after he allegedly showed up at his ex-wife's home even though he had been ordered by the court to stay away from there.
Police said they received the complaint just before noon on Monday and arrested the accused after reviewing some video footage of the incident.
He was taken into custody and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
