Zero charges laid during RIDE programs in Chatham, Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent police say zero charges have been laid after conducting RIDE programs in Chatham and Wallaceburg on Friday.

Police are reminding the public that they will be conducting frequent RIDE programs throughout the holiday season.

Be safe this holiday season and do not drive while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Family dispute leads to Chatham man's arrest

A 20-year-old Chatham man is facing a mischief charge after a family dispute at a residence on Dover Street in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent police say they were called to the dispute at around 5 a.m. Friday morning.

Police learned that the male allegedly broke a male while he was at the residence.

He was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000 and was later released from police custody with a future court date.
