Chatham-Kent fire crews from Station 20 in Wheatley were called to the scene at 67 Elm Street and by the time they arrived, there were already flames visible.
Firefighters from Station 19 from Tilbury were also called in to help out.
The damage was estimated at $350,000.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
