Blenheim residents arrested after police find fentanyl, cocaine during drug bust

Two men from Blenheim are facing drug trafficking charges after Chatham-Kent police found a batch of illegal drugs while they were executing a search warrant.

Police said they found and seized about $3,000 worth of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorphone, and clonazepam last week Tuesday as part of a drug investigation that led them to an address on Talbot Street West in Blenheim.

Officers said they also seized some digital scales, packaging materials, cell phones, and a large amount of Canadian currency.

A 35-year-old Blenheim man and a 31-year-old Blenheim man were both arrested and charged with five counts each of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Both of them were taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.
