Erie Street North to close for demolition of drug store in Wheatley

A stretch of Erie Street North will be shut down next week for the demolition of the drug store in Wheatley.

Erie Street North will be closed from Talbot Road to Elm Street from Tuesday, April 11 to Wednesday, April 19.

The duration of the closure is for the demolition of the Adamson Guardian Pharmacy drugstore on the corner of Erie and Talbot.

The municipality will also be staging and executing the monitoring well pump test.

"Details of the monitoring well pump test can be found in the March 1 community meeting presentation posted on the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent webpage," the municipality said in a statement.

Truck detours are still in place around the Erie Street North closure.
