Police catch up with wanted woman
Chatham-Kent police can cross another name off of their wanted list.
Police said an officer stopped a 42-year-old Chatham woman just after 6:30 a.m. Thursday and recognized her from previous interactions.
The officer was able to confirm that the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant, so she was arrested and charged with failing to compy with a probation order.
The woman was taken back to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Chatham man arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent police also caught up with a 40-year-old Chatham man who made it onto the wanted list.
Police said the man was stopped on Murray Street in Chatham just after 2 p.m. Thursday and confirmed he was wanted on a warrant.
The man was arrested, taken back to police headquarters, and charged with failing to comply with a release order. He was set to be held pending a bail hearing.

Police allegedly find meth on wanted man
A 40-year-old man who was already wanted by police is in more trouble with the law after they allegedly found him carrying around some suspected methamphetamine.
Police said they caught up with the man on William Street North in Chatham at 3:20 p.m. Thursday and confirmed that he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
He was arrested and taken back to police headquarters.
When police were searching him, they also allegedly found some suspected methamphetamine.
In addition to his outstanding warrant, the man was charged with drug possession.
He was later released with conditions and a future court date.
