Chatham-Kent police nab speeders during traffic blitz on McNaughton Line
Chatham-Kent police issued a total of four speeding tickets during a traffic blitz along McNaughton Avenue in Chatham on Saturday.
Police are reminding the public to obey the speed limit as it is almost always a significant factor in collisions with severe or fatal injuries.

Police arrest man for outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent police have arrested a 57-year-old man from Chatham who was subject to a warrant for failing to comply.
Officers located and arrested the man at around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. He was released from police custody with a court date to answer to the charge.

Disturbance call leads to public intoxication charge
A 27-year-old Chatham man spent some time sobering up in a holding cell after police were called to the area of King Street West early Sunday morning.
Officers located the man in an intoxicated state and transported him to police headquarters.
He was lodged until he was sober and issued a provincial offence notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
