Woman Arrested for Theft
A 36-year-old Kent Bridge woman has been arrested and charged with theft after some suspicious activity was reported in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police said officers responded to Grand Avenue West in Chatham on Thursday and learned a woman was entering vehicles and removing items.
Police added the woman was confronted by a victim, who retrieved her property before she left the area.
The female suspect was found a short distance away and charged with theft and possession of stolen property.

Man Arrested for Mischief
Running after a victim with a box cutter has landed a Dresden man in hot water with police.
Chatham-Kent police said a man was cutting straps from trees at the Rotary Park in Dresden without permission on Thursday and ran after the victim with a box cutter after he was approached and told to stop.
The 49-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with mischief, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Two Men Arrested for Theft
Chatham-Kent police have laid charges against two men after some suspicious activity in Chatham.
Police several vehicles were being checked on Creekview Place in Chatham early Friday morning and the pair was quickly located.
A 49-year-old Pain Court man and a 28-year-old Chatham man were charged with three counts of theft and three counts of possession of stolen property.
