Man accused of damaging mailbox with golf cart, tractor
A 37-year-old Blenheim man is facing charges after a series of mailbox mischiefs in Harwich Township.
Chatham-Kent police said they were called to investigate the case shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday and learned that the man had allegedly damaged someone's mailbox several times over the past couple of months using various motorized vehicles, including a golf cart and a tractor.
The man accused of damaging the mailbox was arrested and charged with four counts of mischief.
He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Police find stolen credit cards, suspected cocaine on suspect
A 40-year-old Blenheim man is facing several charges after police chased him down during an early morning investigation into a suspicious person on Chatham Street South just outside of Blenheim.
Chatham-Kent police said officers on general patrol saw a man acting suspiciously on that street just before 4 a.m. Thursday and tried to approach him.
At that point, the man allegedly fled the area, prompting police to chase him down on foot.
Officers said they used a taser on the man to "gain compliance" and took him into custody.
Police also allegedly found some stolen credit cards and some suspected cocaine on the man when they searched him.
He was taken back to police headquarters and charged with trespassing at night, break and enter, possession of stolen property, and possession of a controlled substance and was later released with conditions and a future court date.

Wanted man arrested for an indecent act in Tilbury
A Tilbury man who was already wanted in connection with a harassment investigation is facing charges in connection with an "indecent act" in Tilbury.
Chatham-Kent police said they got that call shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday, adding that the officer who showed up at the scene on Queen Street South arrived in time to see the man buttoning up his pants.
The same officer confirmed that the man was wanted in a criminal harassment investigation.
A 26-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with indecent acts and criminal harassment and was later released with a future court date.

Port Lambton man booked for impaired driving after Wallaceburg crash
A 38-year-old Port Lambton man is facing a pair of impaired driving charges after an early morning crash on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Police said they were called to the scene at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday and found the vehicle involved in the crash and believed the driver was under the influence of alcohol, so he was arrested and taken to the Ontario Provincial Police Petrolia Detachment for breath tests.
The man then allegedly refused to provide a breath sample for police.
He was charged with impaired driving and refusing to comply with a demand and was later released with a future court date.

Bothwell man charged with impaired driving in Lambton Shores
A 30-year-old from Bothwell is accused of driving while impaired in Lambton Shores after they allegedly blew over three times the legal limit.
Lambton OPP said the driver was arrested on Wednesday.
The accused was slapped with a 90-day licence suspension and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
