Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect after someone wrote a "vulgar comment" on the Cenotaph in Chatham.
It's the second time this year that police have notified the public about vandalism at the cenotaph and the third time in the past year the cenotaph has been vandalized.
Police said in the most recent case, officers were called to the Cenotaph on Sixth Street in Chatham for a mischief investigation shortly after 11 a.m. on August 29.
When police arrived, they reportedly found a vulgar comment written on the monument in blue marker.
Investigators were able to obtain some surveillance footage and they are now trying to identify the individual pictured above in connection with the case.
