Two people face charges after a multi-million dollar illegal marijuana seizure in Chatham-Kent.
On September 8, 2023, the Chatham-Kent Police and K9 Unit, executed a search warrant on Story Street in Blenheim as part of an investigation.
Approximately $6,100,000 worth of illegal cannabis plants were seized.
A 40-year-old Blenheim man and a 41-year-old Toronto man were arrested and charged with cultivating illegal cannabis contrary to the Cannabis Act Section 12(4)(a).
Both men were transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of October 12, 2023.
