Chatham man charged with assault
A Chatham man has been arrested in connection to an assault investigation.
Police responded at around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday to a home in the area of Queen Street.
Through investigation, police found that a resident of the home was fearful of her son after he allegedly grabbed her by the neck causing injury.
The Chatham man was arrested for causing bodily harm to his mother.

Wallaceburg man arrested for public intoxication
Chatham-Kent police arrested a Wallaceburg resident after he was found walking on Victoria Road, near Highway 401.
A wellness check was conducted at 1:40 a.m., police determined that the man was impaired due to alcohol and incapable of caring for himself.
The man was arrested and taken to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held until he sobered up.
Police said that the man was unable to provide details about how he ended up on Victoria Road. Officers searched the area and determined that he had not been involved in a crash.

Man charged for breaching bail conditions
Chatham-Kent police arrested a man after reports of him not following his bail conditions.
Officers located the man in the area of Park Street after he left his residence without his surety for a lengthy period.
According to police, when they informed the man that he was being arrested he became combative with officers.
The Chatham man was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
