Entegrus, the company that operates and maintains electricity distribution systems for the area, sent a tweet just before 6 p.m. stating workers were aware of the issue and crews were sent out on patrol to find the cause.

A short time later, Entegrus tweeted again, stating that service has been restored to most customers.

No other details about what caused the brief outage has been reported. CK News Today has reached out to Entegrus for more information.

On Thursday, customers in the same area were also briefly without power. Outages were first detected in the city just before 6 a.m., but more than half of the affected area had their power restored by about 7:15 a.m.

Those still without power are advised to call Entegrus at 519-352-6300 for support.
