Break and enter in Chatham
A break and enter was reported to Chatham- Kent police. It is believed to have happened between Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m.
Police said an unknown suspect entere the business Hair by Cathy and Lindsay on Park Avenue in Chatham.
The suspect stole a number of items before fleeing the property.

Man arrested for impaired operation
Early Sunday morning a member of Chatham-Kent police was conducting general patrol duties in Wallaceburg when he saw a vehicle fail to stop at a red light.
The officer stopped the vehicle at around 1:45 a.m. and during the investigation the officer believed the 32 year-old male driver recently had alcohol.
The driver took a breathalyzer test which gave a 'fail' reading when he was then arrested.
It was later found after two more tests he was past the legal limit.
He has been charged with having more than the prescribed legal limit and several other Highway Traffic Act offenses.
He was released a short time later on an undertaking with a future court date.
Man arrested for breaching release order
On Saturday at 4:21 p.m. police received a report that a man attended a residence on Prince Street South in Chatham contrary to his release order conditions.
During the investigation, officers found out that he tried to enter the residence through the front door.
He then left the property after he found that the door was locked and the occupant wouldn't let him inside.
Police located him a short time later at his own residence and arrested him with failing to comply with a release order.
The 20 year-old Chatham man was held in custody pending a show cause bail hearing.
