Police arrest woman accused of biting store employee
A 39-year-old woman is facing an assault charge after she allegedly bit an employee who confronted her for shoplifting.
Chatham-Kent police said they got that call at a business on Park Avenue East in Chatham Wednesday night, adding that the bite did not cause a significant injury.
The woman accused of biting the employee who confronted her was arrested, charged, and later released with a future court date.

Two arrests on outstanding warrants
Chatham-Kent police were able to cross two more names off of their wanted list after making a pair of arrests Wednesday morning.
Police said they found a 45-year-old man and a 40-year-old man, both in the area of Dufferin Avenue, who were wanted on outstanding warrants.
They were both arrested - in separate cases - and taken to police headquarters where they were set to be held pending a bail hearing.

Base Line Road business target of break-in
Chatham-Kent police are investigating after someone broke into a business on Base Line Road in Wallaceburg.
Police said they were called in for that early Thursday morning and that whoever broke in, damaged a door to gain entry.
It is not clear yet what -- if anything -- was taken.
Police said there are also no suspects yet.
