CK police looking for witnesses to weekend hit-and-run

If you saw a vehicle hit a cyclist on Richmond Street in Chatham recently, Chatham-Kent police would like to hear from you.

CK police said they are investigating after a vehicle hit a cyclist who was heading west on Richmond Street between Lacroix Street and McDougall Avenue in Chatham between 3 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 9.

Police said the man on the bicycle was hit from behind and was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Officers said the vehicle took off after the collision and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
