Chatham woman arrested for drug trafficking
A 36-year-old Chatham woman is facing a pair of drug-related charges after police allegedly found some cocaine and fentanyl while they were searching an address on Park Avenue West in Chatham.
Police said members of their Intelligence Unit carried out the search warrant on Thursday and also found a large amount of Canadian currency and some drug-related equipment.
They arrested a suspect in the case and took her to police headquarters.
She was charged with one count of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of drug possession before she was released with conditions and a future court date.

Man arrested for robbing woman after argument
A Chatham man who was wanted for assaulting a woman and then taking off with some of her personal belongings has turned himself in.
CK police said their investigation started on February 19 when they were called to Dover Street in Chatham for an alleged assault.
Officers said they learned the man and a woman were walking along Dover St. when they started arguing.
During that argument, the man allegedly pushed the woman to the ground and fled the area with some of her personal property.
Police said the victim did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the assault.
Officers got a warrant for the man's arrest when they couldn't find him and he turned himself in at CK police headquarters over the noon hour on Thursday.
He was arrested and later released with conditions and a future court date.

Woman walking into traffic was wanted by police
A 30-year-old Chatham-Kent woman who was wanted on a DNA warrant was reportedly seen walking into traffic in Wallaceburg Thursday evening.
Police said they found her after they got a call for a well-being check on a woman on Dufferin Avenue shortly before 5:30 p.m.
The woman was arrested on the outstanding warrant and was taken to police headquarters for processing before she was released unconditionally.

Two Chatham men booked for public intoxication
Chatham-Kent police picked up a pair of local men early Friday morning after they were found to be intoxicated to the point where they couldn't care for themselves.
CK police said the first man was arrested on Princess Street South in Chatham at around 1 a.m. Friday after officers were called in for a report of a disturbance.
The second arrest was at around 6:30 a.m. Friday after police were carrying out a well-being check on a man who was reported to be walking along Longwoods Road in Chatham Township.
Both of the men were issued Provincial Offences Notices and they were both set to be held in custody until they sobered up.
