Chatham woman arrested for multiple LCBO thefts

Police have arrested a 23-year-old following three theft investigations involving two different LCBO locations.

Police confirmed that two of the thefts occurred at the Wellington Street location and the third happened at an LCBO in Wallaceburg.

The Chatham woman was found at around 10 a.m. on Saturday.

She was released from police custody with conditions and a future court date.

Police make multiple warrant arrests

A Chatham man, who is known to police, was arrested at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

According to police, the 54-year-old was wanted on a warrant for failing to comply with a probation order.

On Saturday, Chatham-Kent police arrested a Wallaceburg man on a warrant related to an assault investigation.

The arrest occurred at 2:30 p.m. in Wallaceburg.

The 34-year-old man was released with a future court date.

A 23-year-old Chatham man was arrested Saturday on the strength of an Essex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) warrant.

Officers located the man at 2:30 p.m. at a Park Avenue address. They were called to the location in response to a family dispute.

The warrant was issued for an assault involving a weapon.

The man was turned over to the OPP to answer to the charge.
