Police investigating multiple break-ins

On Friday, Chatham-Kent police dealt with several break-and-enters.

At around noon, officers responded to the area of Wren Line in Dover for the report of a break-in.

Investigators determined that sometime over the past week, unknown suspect(s) entered a residence and took approximately $5,000 worth of tools.

Just after 12 p.m., police responded to an address on Stewart Line in Chatham Township.

Police said that in this instance, unknown suspect(s) broke into a building and stole an unknown amount of food.

Later in the day, around 3:30 p.m., officers were called to a home on Keil Drive in Chatham.

Police believe that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) got into the garage and took bicycles and a child's 4-wheeler.
