Two men from Chatham have been charged with first degree murder after a woman was found dead.
Chatham-Kent police said they started an investigation regarding the death of a woman in Chatham on Tuesday and arrested and charged a 44-year-old man and a 59-year-old man, both from Chatham, the same day.
Both men appeared in court on Wednesday, were remanded into custody, and will appear in court again June 19, 2024.
"This is considered an isolated incident and no threat to public safety," said CK police. "To preserve the integrity of this on-going investigation limited information will be provided at this time."
