Chatham restaurant broken into
Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they investigate a break-in at a restaurant on Keil Drive in Chatham.
Police said they were dispatched to the business at 2:30 a.m. Friday and learned that sometime overnight, someone had broken the front door of the restaurant, causing about $2,000 in damage.

Suspicious person complaint leads to arrest
A 29-year-old Windsor man is facing a pair of charges after he was allegedly stopped in a stolen vehicle in Tilbury.
Chatham-Kent police said they found the man while they were following up on a complaint about a suspicious male in the area of Mill Street West in Tilbury at around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Officers said while they were patrolling the area, they were also alerted about the theft of a vehicle.
Police were able to track the vehicle down and arrested a 29-year-old man for theft and possession of stolen property.

Wallaceburg man arrested for breaching bail conditions
A 25-year-old Wallaceburg man is in trouble with the law again after he allegedly breached one of his bail conditions by associating with someone he had been ordered to stay away from.
CK police said the breach took place at around 3 p.m. Thursday, adding that the man was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was set to be held pending a bail hearing.
