Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they try to identify the person pictured below in connection with an ongoing investigation.

CK police are looking for help to identify the two people pictured below in connection with some gas theft investigations.

Officers are directing anyone with information to contact Constable Steve Donald at stevend@chatham-kent.ca.

You can also submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Woman accused of pushing a man down some stairs

A 29-year-old Wallaceburg woman is facing a handful of charges after she allegedly pushed a man down some stairs during an argument early Thursday morning.

CK police said they were called to an address on Montgomery Drive in Wallaceburg at around 3 a.m. Thursday and learned that not only had the woman allegedly shoved the man, but there were also grounds for other charges to be laid against her.

The woman was arrested and taken to police headquarters before she was later released with conditions and a future court date.

She is charged with two counts of assault and one count of mischief.

Wanted man picked up on Fourth Street in Chatham

A 52-year-old Chatham man is facing a trio of charges after he allegedly skipped a scheduled court appearance.

CK police said they found the man on Fourth Street in Chatham shortly after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

He was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he was set to be held pending a bail hearing.

The man is currently charged with resisting arrest, failing to attend court, and failing to comply with an appearance notice.
