Residents in the Blenheim area will notice some armed forces training this week in the area of Cedar Springs and Blenheim.
On Wednesday, Canadian Armed Forces Primary Reserve personnel from the 31 Canadian Brigade will be conducting a weight march in Cedar Springs.
Military spokesperson Corporal Aidan Snetsinger said soldiers will be carrying weapons without ammunition on Water Street during the exercise.
"These kinds of physical training activities are important in developing and maintaining our soldiers’ physical strength, endurance, and readiness in support of Canada," said Snetsinger. "All measures are being taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to those in the area."
Snetsinger also noted areas around the training will be accessible.
He's asking the public to be extra careful when approaching military vehicles and personnel.
The Canadian Armed Forces is thanking the community in advance for its understanding and co-operation.
