Second annual Hudson Hospice ATV Ride Day nets over $4,300 for charity

A local motorcycle shop and the Chatham-Kent ATV club teamed up to raise money for the Chatham-Kent Hospice.

Hudson Motorcycles from Tilbury presented the hospice with a $4,320 cheque last week.

The Hudson Hospice ATV Ride Day took place on September 28 and offered participants lunch, a chance at $1,000 worth of prizes, and an exciting way to do a good deed.

The Chatham-Kent Hospice depends on donations to operate. The 10-bed residential facility offers care for residents facing end of life and support for their loved ones.

This was the second Hudson Hospice ATV Ride Day. The two rides have raised a total of $8,500.
