Wanted Chatham man arrested following reported theft
A 57-year-old Chatham man was arrested in Wallaceburg after a reported theft.
CK police said they were called to a business just after 9 a.m. on Thursday where they learned that the suspect had loaded up a grocery cart and attempted to run through the back door.
According to police, responding officers were able to find and arrest the man.
It was later discovered that the man was also wanted by warrant for different charges.
The man was taken to CK police headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.

Stolen vehicle recovered
CK police located a vehicle shortly after it was reported stolen, unfortunately the owners won't be able to drive it any time soon.
Police said they got a call about a stolen vehicle shortly after 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Less than 30 minutes later, police said they received a report about a vehicle on fire in east Chatham.
It was quickly determined that the two reports involved the same vehicle.

Two men arrested for breaching court orders
Chatham-Kent police were called around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday for a domestic dispute.
When police arrived on scene it was found that one of the involved men had a court order banning him from associating with certain people.
As a result of this, a 53-year-old Blenheim man was arrested for failing to comply with his release order.
At the same time, a 61-year-old Blenheim man was arrested at the scene for facilitating the breach.
Both men were taken to police headquarters. The first man was held pending a bail hearing while the second was released with conditions and a future court date.
