Registration deadline approaches for 30th Annual Golf Classic

Golf season isn't quite here, but time is running out to sign up for Community Living Wallaceburg's Annual Golf Classic.

The event will take place at the Maple City Country Club for its 30th year on Friday, September 26. Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to register before March 7 to secure their spot and get a discount on their registration fee.

This year, in a new addition to the tournament, golfers will be able to invite a guest to join the dinner portion of the day.

"As a way to celebrate 30 successful years, we wanted to introduce this new experience to enhance overall day," said Andrew Dawson, Fund Development and Communications Specialist with Community Living Wallaceburg.

Funds from the tournament will support the purchase of a new, fully accessible van for the organization. Which will allow people to get to medical appointments, special programming, and community events.

Over the last 29 years the Golf Classic has raised more than $400,000.
