Chatham-Kent police alleged the suspect lured a 16-year-old child through online communication for a sexual purpose while using various social media platforms.
Police said the suspect was arrested in Chatham on Friday and was charged by the Chatham-Kent Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE), just days after an investigation began.
Police noted the victim was offered the necessary support.
