Hundreds of antique cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors will be on display in Mitchell's Bay this Saturday, June 14.
The 11th annual show takes place from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Mitchell's Bay Park. Vehicles must be at least 25 years old, but there will be more than just old cars.
"We've got over 52 vendors that are going to be there on Saturday," said chairperson Kate Cabral-McKeand. "Lots of pre-registration is already taking place now. For those that are going to register, remember the first 100 will get goodie bags with special plaques. We're hoping a lot of people show up, and the weather is going to be fabulous."
All of the money raised goes to the Mitchell's Bay Area Association.
"It's a wonderful group of people that care about the bay, and what they're doing is trying to beautify the bay" said Cabral-McKeand. "So the money that we make from all events that the Mitchell's Bay Association is involved with stays in the bay. Whether it's a trail or it's the beach, beautifying the beach, or it's the splash pad, all the money will stay in the bay, which is wonderful."
New this year is the kids pedal tractor pull.
"We have five flights for the kids by weight. The winners will get beautiful trophies, and second and third place will get nice medals," said Cabral-McKeand.
Registration for that will take place between 10 a.m. and noon, and the pull will start at noon.
If it rains on Saturday, updates will be posted on their Facebook page.
"We are praying for sunshine, and hopefully it's going to change, and we will have full, beautiful sunshine. But in the event that it does rain on Saturday, we will be holding it on Sunday, the following day," said Cabral-McKeand.
