Drugs seized following break in
Two men are facing drug charges after police were called for a break and enter in progress.
CK police said they got the call just before 9 p.m. on Saturday.
According to police, when officers arrived at a vacant home on Stanley Avenue in Chatham, signs of forced entry were found and a suspect was spotted inside the residence.
Police then arrested a man from Blenheim, 38, and a Chatham man, 46. During the arrest, police also seized a small amount of suspected methamphetamine.
The two men were taken to police headquarters where they were held for bail.

Man wanted after stolen motorcycle crash arrested on warrants
A 40-year-old from Camden Township is facing additional charges after missing multiple court dates.
He was initially arrested and charged with possession of stolen property in July 2024, after it was determined that he crashed a motorcycle that had been reported stolen, police said.
The man didn't appear for two court dates, prompting police to charge him with two additional charges for failing to attend court.
CK police said the man was spotted just after 1:30 p.m. last Friday, on Industrial Road in Thamesville, and arrested. He was later released from police custody with a July 24 court date.

Leamington man faces impaired driving charges following single vehicle crash
A 65-year-old man was arrested after a vehicle crashed into a tree at Wheatley Provincial Park.
Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene at about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
After speaking to him, officers determined that the man was intoxicated and arrested him.
The man is facing two counts of impaired driving and one count of dangerous driving. He's also had his licence suspended for 90 days.
No injuries were reported.

Woodstock police arrest wanted Chatham-Kent man
Chatham-Kent police can strike a long-wanted suspect off their list.
The man was originally charged in August 2022, when police said they spotted him a short distance away from a detached garage where a suspicious person had been reported.
At the time, the man escaped arrest by running into a corn field but investigators were able to identify him. Police charged him with a number of offences including trespassing, theft under $5,000, breaking and entering, and obstructing police. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was arrested on January 18, 2023, but after missing a court date another warrant was issued.
Just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, the man was turned over to CK police, by the Woodstock Police Service. He was held in police custody pending bail.
