CKPL to offer native seeds this fall

This fall, members of the Chatham-Kent Public Library (CKPL) can check out more than just books.

The library announced the return of the CKPL's Seed Library on September 2. At that time, all CKPL branches will have a small variety of native plant seeds available for checkout.

Seeds that will be available include popular native fall plants, including Black-Eyed Susan, Butterfly Weed, Swamp and Common Milkweed, Purple Coneflower, and New England Asters.

The seeds are free to library goers; all that's needed to collect them is a valid CKPL library card.

Individuals can check out five packages of seeds.
