Impaired Driver
Chatham-Kent (CK) police have charged a man with allegedly driving while impaired.
Just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Tramway Road in Camden Township.
When officers arrived, they found a truck in a ditch.
Police arrested the driver and charged them with operating a vehicle while impaired.
He's since been released from custody with a future court date.
Break and Enter
Two people are facing charges after allegedly breaking into a Wallaceburg home.
On August 28, CK police received a report of a break-and-enter. Officers were told by someone living at the home that several items had been stolen.
Video surveillance showed a man and a woman entering through a basement window.
On Saturday, police arrested a 40-year-old man from Walpole Island and charged him with breaking and entering, theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property.
He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after allegedly being arrested while carrying unspecified drugs.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 31-year-old woman from Port Lambton.
