A 49-year-old man is in a London hospital after being seriously injured during a collision in Chatham-Kent (CK).
The collision occurred on Queens Line, southwest of Chatham, on Monday.
According to CK police, an SUV collided with a motorcycle. The motorcycle driver was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) before being airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London.
The driver of the SUV was assessed by emergency services at the scene, but didn't need further treatment.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-355-1092.
Shortly before this incident, police were called to King Street East for a potential collision.
When officers arrived, they found an 82-year-old woman pinned under a vehicle.
She was pulled out and transported to the CKHA with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The police explained that the woman had gotten out of the vehicle while it was still in reverse, causing it to drive over her once she got behind it.
