New Executive Lead at CK Ontario Health Team

The Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team (CKOHT) has found its new leader.

Cory Gosnell has been named as the organization's next Executive Transformation Lead. He replaces Melissa Sharpe-Harrigan, who left earlier this spring to join the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton-Kent (CMHALK).

The CKOHT works with all health care organizations in Chatham-Kent, helping to organize and deliver care.

By adding Gosnell, the organization is bringing in 25 years of leadership experience in the health care sector. This includes positions within Ontario's Ministry of Health, Cancer Care Ontario, and, most recently, the Lawson Health Research Institute.

"I look forward to stepping into my new role – listening to the needs of the residents of the region and working alongside the incredible healthcare professionals and organizations throughout Chatham-Kent to deliver the best outcomes we can for our community," said Gosnell.

His first day on the job will be June 29, 2026.
