The Wallaceburg Lakers suffered their fourth loss in a row after falling 3-0 to the Essex 73's on Wednesday.
During the game, Essex ended the first period with a 1-0 advantage. The Lakers were able to keep the 73's at bay, but weren't able to tie the game in a scoreless second period. In the final 20 minutes, Essex scored two more goals to ensure their shutout victory over Wallaceburg.
Nick Mainella, Matthew Rosati and Anthony Cristofaro each scored one goal for Essex.
The Lakers will take on the Alvinston Flyers on Friday at 7:30pm.
