Maroons Face St. Thomas

The Chatham Maroons head to St. Thomas tonight to take on the Stars.

"Last time we were down there [St. Thomas], it was an overtime game," says Maroons head coach Tyler Roeszler. "They have a young, fast team that works really hard so we're going to have to be willing to skate and match their work ethic. They're second place right now so it should be a very competitive game."

The Maroons recently brought in goalie Brendan Johnston, so Roeszler is busy juggling three goalies on the roster.

"Every time we approach the game it's who we think gives us the best chance to win in the next game," says Roeszler. "We definitely want to get him in sooner rather than later. I think it's a healthy competition between all three of our goalies right now, and they're pushing each other and they've been a lot better since the third guy's come on board."

Tune in to our live broadcast of the game on Country 92.9 FM/630 AM CFCO or stream it online here.

In other GOJHL action tonight, the Leamington Flyers host the LaSalle Vipers. Puck drop is set for 7:10pm.
