Spits' DiPietro Honoured By CHL

Windsor Spitfires Goalie Mike DiPietro is the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week after posting a goals-against average of 1.00 and .969 save percentage over his last two starts.

The 16-year-old Amherstburg-native back-stopped the Spits to a 5-0 win over Owen Sound last Thursday, before a 4-2 victory in Oshawa on Sunday.

Overall, DiPietro is 11-3-1-0 on the season with a goals-against-average of 2.29 and save percentage of .924 in his rookie season with Windsor.

The 2017 NHL Draft prospect also competed as a member of Team Canada Red at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge last fall.
