Final Playoff Push

Jr. C hockey clubs are wrapping up the regular season this weekend.

With a one-point lead in the GLJCHL standings over Blenheim, Amherstburg is hoping to hold onto the second seed as it visits Lakeshore tonight.

"They (the Canadiens) are going to give everything they've got tonight as well," says Admirals Head Coach Paul Bortignon. "They're looking for home ice in the first round (of the playoffs) too, and two points tonight would all but lock that up for them."

Bortignon thinks his team's got a chance to make a deep playoff run this year, as they've sat just behind Essex in the standings all season.

Elsewhere, Wallaceburg's in Dresden tonight.

In Jr. A, the Kingsville Kings take on Norfolk.
